Our Sunday was relaxing & quiet around here. I finalized the design for a paper-bag album class I'm teaching on Tuesday evening...love how it turned out!

And we hung out watching the Dog Whisperer this afternoon after a trip to the park to play in the snow.

Pretty typical Saturday around here. Did some cleaning, which Ace helped with.

Made one of our family's favorite snacks for a light lunch...baked cheese, crackers & oysters.
We always seem to have a FULL dishwasher around here. We're always unloading clean loads, some times two a day.

So excited that the Project Life kits arrived! They are waiting at my front door for friends to pick them up, there were 11 of us who shared in the shipping costs. I can't wait to dive into this kit...I have a very similar version from last year which worked great for my Project 365 photos.
Had our very first visit from this little one today. My friend Lachalle brought over baby Isabelle who is just over one week old. Some snuggles were in order, what a cutie.
Lachalle was looking great!

While us Mom's had a visit, Scarlett and Addison had a visit of their own.
They played, snacked and read cookbooks.
Some friends that picked up their kits!!!

We took the whole family (even Piper our dog) on a ROAD TRIP to Minot today. Even though we weren't able to pick up what we went there for, we had a good day together. I did manage to pick up a few goodies...a wire shelf for our mudroom, a Valentine's Bearista Bear, heart pjs for the kids & the Project Life kits I ordered (yep they're here ladies, all 11 of them). We even had time to stop at this spot where I've been wanting to take a photo for years...love the old antique gas pump. Might have to head back there when the snow is gone and do some portraits there!

Nana's Snow Family
My Mom made all of these snow people yesterday in her front yard. Today her & Dad dressed them in hats & scarves, they are adorable and represent Nana & her Grandkids. My Mom is so creative and still such a kid-at-heart, she makes me smile!

Scarlett's Room

Scarlett's room is finally coming together, nothing a little time couldn't fix. We were able to hang a few things on her walls & put up curtains this weekend..it's looking amazing! Here's a little peek...

Letters I designed for her, love how they turned out. Waiting till our next Ikea trip to add 3 more white frames below these ones...I'll put some fave B&W photos of her in them.
House of 3 wall decor...I've had these for over a year, just waiting to be put up. They have real rhinestones & jewels on them...just gorgeous.
More of the Ho3...they really suit the black, white & pink theme.
Little book shelf for Scarlett's goodies.
Scarlett's Treasure Box painted by our friend Linda and given to her when she was a newborn.
Above her dresser, have to get some photos printed!
And her cozy bed. We are on the hunt for new bedding as she's outgrown the Hello Kitty phase.
Hope she will like pink for a while, as I love how her room turned out!

Happy Birthday Scarlett!
4 years ago today, you brightened our life! You've reminded us to giggle more, to have tea parties and invite all the dollies, to eat snow, to listen to music and that a smile can make someone feel better...you've done all this with your warm heart! She has been patiently waiting for this birthday to come, it's been so fun to share in her anticipation. It felt wonderful to make this week so special for her, our special little sweetheart!
Cupcakes & sparklers for Scarlett.
A few family pics for the memory books.

And another special birthday wish to our neighbor Arlie who shares this day with Scarlett...Happy Birthday Arlie!

We've been busy busy around our home hanging items on the wall...or should I say, Cory's been hanging them. He just finished hanging this clock and magnetic board in our kitchen. It really is the command centre of our home with our family calendar around the corner to the left and important documents & phone station below (way too messy to photograph today).

Family Skidoo Day

Today my Mom & Dad put on a skidoo day at their shop, on the edge of town. The kids had fun playing in the snow with their cousins on this beautiful winter day.
Auntie Christa took all the kids for a ride.

Nana made snow angels with the kids.
Dad cooked prime rib on his BBQ...yum!

Kyra helping Papa.
Ace & Kelby...oh those two boyish boys.
Ace looking a little tired after all the fresh air.
And home made french fries. We had a great time, thanks a bunch Mom & Dad!
