Tonight we celebrated coming together to support a wonderful friend!  The three of us {photographers} collaborated during the Fight For Fonstad Foto Shoots and it was great to get together with Jocelyn, Jason and their families for a BBQ.

We just had to snap a few cheesy shots...we're photographers afterall!

 It was so nice of Megan's daughters, Kaybree & Olivia (below) and husband James to join us this evening.  We look forward to next time when Megan is feeling 100% to join us too!

When a friend suggested this book, I thought I'd try it on our trip...well I couldn't put it down!!!  This book is changing my life page by page.  Who knew Kelly Cutrone (a fashion publicist who started her career in NYC) could define things so clearly for me and be so relate-able!

The U2 Concert in Denver tonight was EPIC for me!

I remember standing there memorizing the moment...just something I will never forget, aweinspiring.  Being able to share this with two great friends & Cory was so special.  U2 is my favorite band and this concert just went to #1 in my list of top concerts I've been to (U2 Popmart just got bumped to the #2 spot).

Before the concert, our friends Scott & Rachelle arranged for a limo to take us downtown to The Capital Grille restaurant where we celebrated Rachelle's birthday.  

 Every song was magnificent...my favorite of the night was 'Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own'.

 After the concert we headed to a pub to finish off this amazing evening...during our walk we came across this yarn bombing art, I had to snap a photo for my friend Dee-Ann!

Landed safely in Denver this morning.  Our gracious friends Rachelle & Scott, picked us up from the airport, we did some shopping & lunch all while catching up, it's been 5 years since we saw these guys.  Met their adorable daughter Charlize (really made me miss our own kiddos).  She is great, such a little lady.  Rachelle & I went for a quick pedi followed by a visit to the market grocery store, where I zonned in on some artichoke photos.  Scott smoked ribs for supper and we dined and visited into the night.

Tonight after work, we dropped off the kids with my parents and jetted off on a trip, just the two of us. We began our weekend with dinner in Minot, ND...asking for a table for TWO was very unusual for us.  We had a relaxing time and headed to our hotel after to realize they had upgraded us to their presidential suite.  In the morning we're off to Denver, CO.

Second photoshoot at Obviously Chic today.  I'm excited to work with them on photographing items for their new website set to launch very soon.  Today I spent the day setting up and taking shots of jewelry & purses...a girls dream.

Had a fabulous time at the Scrap Away Retreat put on by sisters Missy & Lachalle this weekend.  Cory took the kids for down to Minot so I was able to have some time to myself and craft the hours away.

Spent the day photographing the lovely wedding of Adam & Alanna in Regina.  It was a classy event held at the Floral Conservatory where they were surrounded by these beautiful hydrangea flowers.
