Three Laptops
Trust us 3 friends, who hardly go a day without using the computer, to bring ALL THREE of our laptops on a {kid-free} trip to Saskatoon.  The first thing we did after check-in is get online to see what we missed over the duration of our 6 hour drive.

Some Scrapbooking
It's been a long while since I scrapbooked.  I began this layout at the scrapbook retreat I attended in March, and just completed it tonight.  I'm finding it easier to print the photos at home as I need them...which is great for on-the-spot inspiration!

Painting Class
Tonight I attended a painting class at the Expressway Family Centre.  My art teacher of 10 years was the instructor for this class.  It was great to see Judy again and remember all that she has taught me about the creative world.

Michelle & I sat together and reminisced about taking art lessons together as teenagers...made us want to make sure our children get the same creative privileges.  Here we are with our finished masterpieces...well not quite.

Favorite Things: Kitchen
Our oversized coffee cups from Starbucks (bought a year ago) in caribbean blue, brown & olive are one of my favorite things in our kitchen right now.  I love the color combo and there's nothing like a {large} cup of coffee to start the morning.

New Runners
There's nothing like a fresh new pair of runners to put some spring in your step while exercising.  This morning I went for a run around 6:30am before anyone else was awake...it was a great way to start the day.

Dinosaur Day
Today we went to the 'Walking With Dinosaurs' show in Regina. We knew it would be a great age for the kids to take this in. Ace was especially excited and brought along one of his dinos to watch the show.
The show was amazing, large & life-like!
This gives you a view from our seats. You can see Ace on the right with Mr. Brontosaurus on the left.

Snacks for the shot...did I mention we had a theme for the weekend.
Scarlett clinging onto Daddy for the scary parts.

My favorite part was when the colorful plants & flowers appeared, just beautiful.

Ace's favorite dinosaurs: T-Rex
T-Rex video
The Irwin family attended the same show and we all met up after for lunch.
Our whole family enjoyed the day, we loved our dinosaur experience!

Project 365 4.17

We headed to Regina for an overnight visit to watch the 'Walking With Dinosaurs' show.  So this family was able to get in some hotel time, and you know what that means...a trip to the hotel pool...and yes, we bribed them all day with this.
Reading a 'dinosaur' story before bed, we had a theme to our trip.
We had a bite to eat as soon as we got to the city.  Snapped a few while waiting for our meal to arrive.

Tomorrow is going to be a FUN day, can't wait to see the dinosaurs!
