Another holiday craft by Scarlett...I think she could start her own blog as she's been having alot of face-time on here (check out that button job...makes me giggle).

She also came home from Preschool today reciting such a cute holiday poem...I will have to video it and put it on here.

Found this football sign while on a quick weekend trip to Minot. My Mom has brainwashed the kids to cheer for the Saskatchewan Roughriders...aka 'The Good Guys'. But there's no converting Cory...still a Calgary Stampeders fan all-the-way.

Project 365 11.22

Today's Project 365 photo was inspired by this amazing woman...she reminds us to capture the everyday (even if it's un-exciting). And that a counter full of dirty dishes means food on the table...and our family is thankful for that!

A few details about our kitchen sink I have been receiving questions about
- Faucet - it's the Delta Allora with pull-down spout...it's got an amazing magnet in the spout to help it to retract after constant use

Dinner With Girlfriends
We travelled to the village of Forget (population approx 29) this evening to celebrate my friend Jocelyn's birthday at the Happy Nun Cafe.
I was amazed by my first visit to this fantastic restaurant, just a short 50 minute trip from Oxbow. The part I was most impressed about was the warm atmosphere, delicious food and customer service.
Appetizers...

Good company...

Great conversation pieces...
Their menu is simple and it works...choose from three daily items
Cozy atmosphere...
Vintage touches...

Dessert...

Great friends...
Hot cocoa...

Happy Birthday Jocelyn (here she is with the cook)!
A great night! I think I speak for the rest of the group when I say we'll be heading back to The Happy Nun very soon!

Little Trip to the USA
My daughter & I took a 15 minute drive down to our family US post office box this morning. I love going there and discovering the mailbox is full of specialty catalogues that we can't request/receive in Canada. They are wonderful for home decor ideas!
While on our trip, we took our time and enjoyed capturing some of the scenery along the way.

The kids' rooms are coming together in the decorating department. Here's a wall of Ace's room that I've created for him to go with his camping theme. I used chipboard letters and covered them with Cosmo Cricket - Mr. Campy papers.

My friend Missy made my day today when she brought by this Starbucks gift. She took a Starbucks cup an decorated it so adorably...I absolutely LOVED it!
Then inside...a surprise...two Starbucks ornaments {that she knows I collect}. I am so blessed to have such a great friend...thanks Missy!
I hosted a CUPCAKE & CRAFT night for a few crafty friends. We crafted the night away, working on which-ever project we brought and had Crave Cupcakes and spiked hot chocolate.
Kendra worked on Christmas cards....
I worked on my Starbucks Friends Album...
While Trina worked on a gingerbread house...
Here's Trina's finished project...if you'd like to order one, you can make a request here on my blog, just leave a comment.
She even put little mail in the mailbox...too cute!
