Cupcake Montage

Haley treated us to CRAVE cupcakes at the Bloomin' Inn....they were so good, thanks Haley. I just couldn't resist taking shots of everyone and their cupcake of choice! Who doesn't love a cupcake?
Yummy!

Bloomin' Inn

We had a wonderful time during a scrapbooking retreat at the Bloomin' Inn this weekend. As usual we enjoyed scrapbooking & crafting till the wee hours, great food, some R & R and fresh country air. Here's our group photo from the weekend: (in the back) Haley & Dee-Ann, (in the front) Kim, Rhiannon, Jesse, Charlene, Kari & I Kim & Rhiannon touching the much-talked about 'hoof lamp' (creepy)
Rhiannon's first ever scrapbook page...she's a natural
Kari & Charlene...bridal bootcampers
Kim & Starr...little photo shoot

Kari's fiancee stashed this note in her supplies...how sweet!

The food is so good there...the best part is that they cook for you!
Dining outdoors...a real treat
Warm rhubarb pie for dessert...yum

Trip to the Zoo with Dad

Cory took Ace & Scarlett to the Calgary Zoo this weekend while I was away. I was so proud of him for taking #1 the camera and #2 these photos...

Tuckered right out...I guess it was a great day with Daddy!

Cheryl's Goodbye Dinner

Our good friend Cheryl & family are moving to London, ON. A few weeks ago we had a chance to take her out for a lovely dinner at The Keg. We had some laughs, took photos and indulged in great food to celebrate our dear friend. We plan to keep in close touch with Cheryl via email and blogging...but it won't be the same as having her so close by. We'll miss you Cheryl and wish you, Bob, Kailyn & Lukas all the best as you start a new chapter of your lives a few provinces East.

Here's Cheryl and a good ol' plate of Alberta beef
