Drywall Taping

Here's where we are in the house building process at the end of the year.
Very happy to say that drywall taping is half way done.  In about a week, the crew should have the ceiling textured & walls primed.

Boxing Day Toboggan Party

Who doesn't love tobogganing in Saskatchewan?
We had just the right amount of snow & the temperature finally warmed up so we could enjoy some sledding.  Dad & Mom pulled us all up the hill with the Kubota, which definitely beat walking.

Christa & Zoe (Amber's room mate & her daughter)
There were field mice running in these hills
Our puppy Piper had fun chasing them and catching one (gross)

We needed something to take the chill off...
Some hot chocolate hit the spot
It was a bit too hot...the cups had to cool off in the snow

Unfortunately our day didn't end so well, Dad gave me a push down the hill and tore the soft tissue in his forearm.  Him & Mom had to leave the party early as they went to get Dad's arm x-rayed at the hospital.  We were all glad to hear it could have been worse.

Christmas Day

We headed over to my parents in Oxbow for the rest of our Christmas Day festivities
Cory tried to get all the little ones to nap since we all knew it would be a big day for them
It took a bit, but naps were a success!
Amber prepared the dainty platters for dessert
Then my sister Christa's family joined us for some more gift opening together

Then it was time for Christmas dinner
My Dad with the cooked turkey
Mom and her delicious gravy!
We indulged with Ceasar drinks prior to dinner
It was delish!
Zoe, our youngest guest for Christmas dinner
Dessert...Christmas baking
And the clean-up crew, us three sisters on the right, being supervised by Mom on the left
It was a wonderful day!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
