Today I spent some time confirming locations for the Hammermeister/Cameron wedding I'm shooting tomorrow...my first wedding I will be photographing professionally. Wish me luck!
Since the kids always like to help Daddy, we thought it would be OK if they helped spread the waterproof sealer on our cedar deck...they couldn't really mess it up.
Love this 'hands on hips' photo of Scarlett, she was probably bossing around her brother.
My Calgary friend Miranda introduced me to this amazing jewelry line, Stella & Dot! I liked so many of the items, I signed up as a stylist. This fresh new company has beautiful jewelry that reminded me of my Grandmothers and their classic style. I just received my customized kit of jewelry, above I'm wearing the Kelly necklace, one of my favorite items. To take a peek at the items, visit my website or look at our brand new 'Look Book'! If you're interested in placing an order, you can do so on the website or send me a message. Have fun exploring Stella & Dot!
We headed to Minot, ND this weekend to meet our friends for some 'fair fun'!
The kids were the perfect age for the kiddie rides. They had so much fun!
Cotton Candy girls!
I loved watching the looks on their faces as they rode the rides.
After riding the rides for a few hours, we headed back to our friend's campers to visit for the evening. Thankfully the Irwins let us borrow their strollers to get Ace & Scarlett back to the hotel at 2am...it was quite the jaunt!
Remember these, from A & W? Cory's Grandparents sent these home with us from Calgary for the kids. Today they had fun playing with them and stacking them.
Heading out of the city of Calgary this morning...in the traffic...reminded us that we DON'T miss that part of our old life. We had a great drive home and were very anxious to see our little ones. A BIG thanks to my parents for looking after them for the weekend. Mom had them bathed and in their jammies when we made it home tonight...all ready for us to cuddle them!
The Rock & I are enjoying a great weekend away in our ol' city of Calgary. Tonight we chilled with friends on this rooftop patio in our old neighbourhood. I even ran into my college room mate, Marcia, there! Thanks Amber for taking this photo of just us on the posh outdoor couch...we scored this awesome seating and stayed till closing time!
Today my Rock & I are travelling to Calgary, just the two of us, for the weekend. We enjoyed this quiet sunset during the drive and are excited to get away to re-connect while the kids stay at Nana & Papa's.
Today was a beautiful day to have a teaparty on the deck. Snacks, water, tea set, table & chairs was all we needed to have fun for a few hours.
We played in the backyard after our teaparty became old news. The kids came out of the garage wearing this as I was talking to our neighbour Rich. We both howled when we saw the 'get-up' these two had dressed up in. Rediculous & random...yep those are my kids :)
