Project 365 8.7

Fun Friday!
The kids & I were invited to a playdate at Lachalle & Addison's house. Since moving back to this area, Lachalle & I have become friends. She is an amazing woman/mom/stamper and we share alot of the same interests. It was great to get together so the kids could have a play. Thanks for having us over, we had alot of fun and the kids didn't want to leave (especially after they discovered the crabapples)!
Lachalle & Addison whipped up this playdough for the kids to play with (as the weather wasn't looking too promising for outdoor play). The kids loved it and it smelled so good, here's the recipe courtesy of Lachalle:
KOOLAID PLAY DOUGH
3 cups of flour
1 cup salt
3 cups of water
6 tsp of cream of tartar
3 tbsp oil
I added whatever color or smell of kool aid that you would want the play dough to be.I used three packages of kool aid .

If you do not reach the desired color you wanted just add food coloring to it .

Put all of the above in a saucepan and have on medium heat until it forms a ball . Remove from heat let cool and knead to make sure everything is mixed well. Put in sealed containers or ziploc bags .

Enjoy !!!!

For all those girly girls. Add
dazzling diamonds to the play dough for a sparkly effect.

This evening we had the priveledge of having our nephew for a sleepover. It's been long overdue since this was the first time since we moved here, that he was able to stay. The kids all had a jacuzzi bath/swim, then we watched a special movie & didn't end up going to bed till 10:30!
