We were given this piano for free and have been storing it in my parents shop. I finally was able to get ahold of the piano tuner who comes thru town every so often. After he took a short look, he let me know we had a keeper. Just a little fixing, cleaning & tuning and we would have a piano fit to have in our home. He took off all the white keys and is replacing them with a new set. He was able to find out that this piano was made in 1912, an antique.

Ouch Scarlett!
The kids were playing outside on the snowy deck today with their Daddy...having a great time. They got too close to the edge and both fell off onto a wooden bird feeder. As they crashed into it, the bird feeder smashed apart and exposed a stick with screws, which caught Scarlett in the forehead (we're so lucky it didn't go in her eye). Cory rushed them both in and yelled for me to help...it was then when I knew by the sound of his voice, someone was injured. We both took one look at her gapping gash and said...'lets go to the hospital'. So thankful for Dr. B and his surgical glue which prevented stiches!

The Allan family arrived to visit us for the weekend. Since the adults had dinner plans, the two Dads came up with a brilliant idea to take the kiddos for a snowmobile ride...to tucker them out for the babysitter. This was Pieter, Daisy & Gavin's first time on a snowmobile. Dawn & I stayed behind, had a coffee and caught up.

l♥ve l♥ve l♥ve
We shared Valentine's Day celebrations with Pieter & Dawn at the Olive Branch Bistro in Carnduff, SK. We had an amazing meal, some great laughs and caught some pics to remember the evening.
We indulged in their famous cheesecake for dessert, but had to take it home since we were so full from a wonderful meal!

Had a great Mommy & Ace afternoon today while Scarlett was at dance class. I cherish my alone time with each of them because it's very rare that I am able to be one-on-one with them. He finished writing out his Valentines, did homework {learned about the letter 'Q'}, made sugar cookies & did some vacuuming.
