Halloween 2008

We had a Storm Trooper and a Princess for Halloween this year.  We did our first trick or treating in Oxbow & had a blast!

Earlier on in the day, the kids & I took part in the Expressway Family Centre's Halloween party for the kids.  They arranged morning trick or treating at businesses around Oxbow.  It was a great time for the kids.

While I was away in Winnipeg, Cory notified me that when I returned, there might be another family member living at our house.  We had been taking for months about getting a dog for our family since our kids were so interested in having one.  After much thinking, Ace & Scarlett decided they wanted a large dog.  So when we heard that there were Lab-cross puppies being given away in a town close to Oxbow, Cory took the opportunity to take the kids to choose one while I was away.  I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her.

Celine Dion Concert

It was a terrific concert...thank Mom for treating me to this amazing experience!

Trip to Winnipeg

My Mom treated my sisters & I to the Celine Dion concert in Winnipeg, MB...it was my first trip there in over 15 years.  It's only a 4 hour drive from Oxbow, Cory was so nice to keep our kiddos while I got away with the rest of the family.  I had alot of fun driving out with my sister Christa and her kids, it was a great trip.

Shopping at the Polo Park mall; it was one of the best shopping malls I've been too.

It was so much fun to roommate with my sister Amber, who flew in from Calgary.
