Sunday Before our Alberta Trip
This morning Scarlett decided to help herself to a piece of gum in the cupboard. One side of me is thinking #1) she didn't ask first #2) she needs to have some breakfast before she has gum and #3) it's dangerous for her to be up on the counter like that.
The other side of me is thinking, what an ingenious child! She was able to decide she'd like a piece of gum and think to herself 'hmmm, how am I going to get it by myself?'. Then she carefully carried out her plan to get what she wanted.
I caught her just as she was executing her plan and snapped a few shots. I let her keep the gum, she was just too darn cute to say no.
Our friends Curt & Cindy called us to see if we'd like to have a quick game of golf this afternoon. Even though I had tonnes of packing for the 12-day Alberta trip the kids & I were taking on Monday, I wanted to spend some quality time with my hubby, so we dropped everything, sent the kids off to Auntie Christas and went for a quick game.
It was lots of fun, even thought Cindy & I didn't play...we just chatted and drove our own cart around.
