Yep, drinkin' out of the milk jug. I found her in the kitchen, helping herself to the fridge and taking a gulp of milk.

I couldn't help it, she was so cute when I caught her.

This was the first time we met baby Chloe, one week old & so adorable.

Scarlett was especially taken with this little bundle, she even made her this bed to snooze in while they were over visiting.

It's been a while since Cory & I held a newborn, gosh you forget how little they are!

Riley & Channy's Wedding

This was a fabulous wedding, I was so honored to be the one to capture it! These two ROCKED their wedding shoot after they were married at dusk today. Here's a quick peek at some of my favorite photos of the bride & groom (stay tuned for more, especially of the brides's 2 hour shoot with her girlfriends - it was so much FUN).

Their two-year-old son Daxton was such a cutie, he had lots of smiles for me!

Mmmm, Ribs!

Our neighbours, Drew & Trina, invited us down to their camper for supper & a campfire. They served us a delicious meal, the favorite was the ribs.

Rich, Trina's Dad, showed Ace a trick with an empty water bottle...he loved it!

The kids climbed trees for a while...

Campfire, smores, sparklers! Thanks so much for having us guys, can't wait for you to move back to the house so we can be neighbours again!

Dance for Scarlett

Today we registered Scarlett for dance lessons (tap & ballet) at the Drewittz School of Dance in Estevan. I felt like such a rookie Mom with the hectic registration and having to get shoes, outfits, tights, etc. We managed to get all the items to get her ready for lessons next week...we're so excited to be able to see what she thinks of dance!

Lipstick

She's a total girl, so I absolutely expect this from her, putting on Mommy's lipstick!

Loved finding Scarlett in my office chair checking out our mini-album basket. She sat for a long time flipping thru the little books of photos & events. It makes me so happy to have finished projects like this for my children enjoy.

Blueberry Muffins

1 3/4 cup flour

3 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cup margarine

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

3/4 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 - 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

1/2 cup grated apple

Combine dry ingredients in bowl, stir and make a well in the centre. In another bowl cream margarine and sugar. Beat in egg till smooth. Mix in vanilla and milk. Pour in well, stir just to moisten. Stir in blueberries and apple. Bake 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Yield: 20 muffins

Photoshoot for Amber & Chris

When Amber asked me to do some photos of her and her boyfriend when they came for a visit, I was pumped. I knew I'd have alot of fun photographing them! The only thing that Amber was particular about was that they ALL had to be black & white, her favorite type of photographs. I loved that they were relaxed & open to try anything...I also loved that Chris wore his hat, because that is his look. I was so happy with what I captured...enjoy!

Kirby/Swayze Wedding

It was a pleasure to be Kevin & Mandi's wedding photographer for their big day! Their beautiful wedding was held in the town of Glen Ewen. I had lots of fun with their whitty wedding party! I was honored to capture the two of you so 'in love'!

A Day At The Beach

It was a great day to do some boating and head to the beach...we are 5 minutes from the lake, very convenient. Chris & Amber took us out on their boat at the dam today. After boating, we had fun making sandcastles.

Family BBQ

We hosted a family BBQ in honor of Amber & Chris' visit to Oxbow. Above was the fun invitation we sent out for the occasion, and below is part of the kit it came with.

It was a carefree potluck supper, complete with watermelon...a summer BBQ must!
